Lövåsgården Mountain Hotel is one of the jewels of the Swedish mountains, at 800 metres above sea level on the slopes of Långfjället, in the Grövelsjö fells about 30 km north-west of Idre in Dalarna.
Adjacent to the hotel are a family downhill skiing facility and one of Sweden’s most extensive cross-country skiing areas. The premises include the main building with 26 rooms sleeping 65 guests, conference rooms for as many as 50 participants, a restaurant seating 65, and four 4-bed cottages.
The fells of Dalarna exhibit the largest increase in visitor numbers since the early 1980’s of any mountain region in Sweden, partly due to the relative vicinity of the major cities in the Stockholm-Mälaren Region
